Process

All of our projects are custom. Here's the basic process.

1. Understand Your Users

It all starts here. We understand who your current users and target users are: their goals in life, their goals for using your site, and many more details. We will make sure every design decision, every prototype, every test, and the launched site is geared to them as much as possible.

2. Evaluate Usability

We apply techniques and guidelines learned from the best minds in our field to determine what your site is doing well and how it can improve.

3. Initial User Test

We arrange for real people in your site's target audience to walk us through scenarios in which they would use the site so that we can see how well your site is doing.

4. Organize

To help your users find their way, we learn where they would expect to see the types of content they are looking for on your site. We find out where they would expect to accomplish their goals.

5. Brainstorm & Sketch

We come up with as many ideas as possible for pleasing your users. After this, we narrow them down.

6. Select a Theme

We select a theme that will let the site look great on any device. We look for themes that allow extensive customization so that the site looks like yours, not someone else's.

7. Wireframe

We build a very simple prototype showing the basic structure of each page. Here, we are already able to have users review it.

8. Prototype & Customize

We make our ideas much more visual and keep testing to ensure both a great experience for your users and great results for you.

We iterate on brainstorming and sketching (step 5), wireframing (step 7), and this step until an optimal solution is reached.

9. Prepare for Launch

We work with developers to help our vision for your site become a reality and perform as well as it can. Bringing our previous development experience, we understand what can and can't be built well.

10. Go Live

After your site goes live, we continue following up with you and using analytics tools to see how it is doing. We respond to questions and make suggestions and improvements.
